Katherine Kalehuapuakeaula Domingo, 87, of Kealakekua, died on Jan. 28, 2023 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealia, on Nov. 13, 1935, she was a park ranger at Puuhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park, a musical entertainer, master weaver and a member of Kaulu Lauhala O Kona. Services will be held at a later date. She is survived by daughters, Stephanie Tinao of Kealakekua and Sylvia (Paul) Morris of Ocean View; sons, Kilohana (Kenny) Domingo of South Point, Samuel (Victoria) Kaeo of Ocean View and Shane (Paula) Domingo of Kealakekua; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lorraine Pajimola
Lorraine Kuualoha Pajimola, of Kealakekua, died Aug. 2, 2022 at her residence. Born in O’okala, on July 15, 1942, she was a retired manager of the former Chevron gas station in Kealakekua and a former sales associate at Walmart. Celebration of life will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 18, at the Ka’upulehu Interpretive Center at 72-3469 Pahinahina Pl. in Kuki’o.
